Time Machines and the Nineteenth Century

Mechano-Neural Therapy experienced great popularity in the late 1900's and early 20th century. Dr Ella Kilgus originated the therapy at that time, but the Grandmother Clock Antique practice can be traced to early greek civilization.

I learned to do the technique when I was 6 years of age. I've been doing it ever since on my family, my dogs, the nurses at work, and one time on myself as I braced myself against a wall to penetrate the pressure points along the spine.

Only a few of us know how to do it: my sister, my family doctor's daughter, her sister, her son. I taught my husband and a nurse at work how to do it, and they are whiz kid's with their own style and flair for healing.

I am doing research on Mechano, as we call it, so that I can disseminate this information by way of a book I intend to write.

My Homeopathic family doctor's daughter and I just began exchanging this massage every Wednesday at eleven in the morning.

I go to her house because it is conveniently located in the heart of our hometown, across from a nineteenth century church, with a mammoth bell which rings the time on the hour.

Her home was built in the mid 1800's. My friend is caring for the house which has been inhabited by four generations of her family, up to this point in time.

Nineteenth Century antiques furnish this mansion, every room of it, not because it's decorated that way, but because this is the way it's always been.

The smells take me back to my earliest memory. I was raised in that house as well as my family residence, which is located one mile across town.

After the treatment exchange, I left the house, rejuvenated, feeling alive and energized. Ideas were swirling around my head about the Mechano book, the title of which has yet to be determined.

I recently joined Pat O'Bryan's Portable Empire University where we learn the details of internet marketing by accessing hours and hours of valuable "How To" video and audio presentations.

Pat O'Bryan has a well run forum where he regularly participates. This makes us all feel connected to him, the guru who is talented at making us all feel special.

Pat's new book entitled: "Your Portable Empire: How To Make Money Anywhere While Doing What You Love" will be released 9/4/07. European Antique Imports got the idea that he wanted to have a book signing at the social networking site called "Second Life."

He purchased and decorated The Portable Empire Island and set it up for select members to come and chat with him and everyone else who shows up as we all await the unveiling of his book, his creation, his baby!

In order to go to The Portable Empire Island, I had to create what is called a walking, talking avatar, complete with an outfit, hair style and color, facial and Antique Stores Online structure of my choice, any and all of which I can change at any time.

Her name is Mooie Infinity.

She feels like my alter ego.

I worry about her as I go about my first life.

I voiced these concerns to Pat's avatar, Koanwrangler Ibanez, who generously offered his roof to Mooie, situated by a lovely fountain with lavender colored water complete with the sound effect of rippling water, when the Portable Empire Island isn't in full swing.

My dogs absolutely love the soothing sound.

In the time-line of one day, I went from the 19th century to the future, which is now.

I went from a musty smelling 19th century room overlooking the oldest inland street in America, to a virtual reality ocean front property at Second Life, with others who desire to socialize, network about their businesses, and offer our support to one another.

It's quite the mind trip.

Space travel.

Time machines.

Learning centers.

The greatest alternative to bar room socializing I've ever seen.

We do live in interesting times.

The presidential election of 1992 introduced the discussion of
family values as a political issue. Apparently the populous
did not accept this issue as being significant. Christian
organizations were reluctant to enter political activities so
they did not push the concept of family values as being a
religious imperative.

Do some of these issues seem too "political" for the Christian
community to become involved? Are not, however, some of these
issues important enough to be hammered home by the clergy of
this country? When is sin significant enough to talk about
it?

ABOLITIONIST MOVEMENT

"Amazing Grace" was written by a slave trader who came to know
Jesus and his life changed dramatically. John Newton was a
sailor on a slave ship. After his conversion, he became an
Anglican minister and influenced Wilberforce against Slavery.

William Wilberforce, along with John Newton and Granville
Sharp lived in England in the late 1700's. These three men
stopped slavery in England and throughout the British Empire.
Sharp's work led to the emancipation of slaves in England in
1772 while the work of Wilberforce led to the Effective Factor Four Leadership Revised Updated of
slave trade and the emancipation of slaves throughout the
British Empire.

Key Evangelical Christian leaders in the United States
included Samuel Hopkins, Lyman Beecher, Charles G Finney, John

the church in secular affairs. Social reform is the business

reform is not "government handouts" or "entitlement". Social
reform is moral leadership.

Christian lifestyle is a moral lifestyle. Moral leadership is
not the imposing of "blue laws" or "religious fanaticism".
Moral leadership deals with life and death issues. It deals
with freedom under God. Christian morals protect life and
property, things that even non-Christians cherish. Decisions
concerning morality must not be left to the atheists and to
the anti-Christians.

Christian leaders must take the initiative in developing a
corporate moral character for the country and the world. We
Christians are the "salt of the earth and if that salt loses
its taste, just what is it good for." These words in quotes
are not my words but Jesus's words. Perhaps we better start
applying the "salt".

I believe you have certain qualities when you are born. When watching two twin brothers, who respond differently to the world- you can assume that your genetic load had a role in determining where you are today. Well, how big is the part your genetic load plays in your life? Are you utterly doomed for failure or maybe your gens are well programed for massive success?

I will tell you a very famous example. In fact, it's so famous that you can find monuments of that figure today in many places in the world, long after he has passed away (6 decades ago).

As a young boy, he was pretty normal. No special signs of brightness. However, growing up- he socialized with the wrong company (as he described it in his autobiography). He began rebelling his parents path. He smoked cigarettes for quiet a while. He thought that by doing so, he will get the sense of fulfillment- he was so much eager to. But, things got much worse.

After advising his friend, they reached a conclusion, that they are not really rebelling- they should do something much more drastic. So, they decided to commit suicide (not much logic to it- But that was the way he thought at the time). Everything was planned, however it wasn't committed in the end. They were too afraid. As a result, he came together and gradually made more and more wise choices, during the course of his life.

He finally did not only lead his own life. But, also all of India to independence. Yes, Mahatma Gandhi. Who would have believed that this great man could had such a youth. You might think that the pieces of the passel don't much. But, there is no need to be confused. Gandhi wasn't born as some super being. He was a normal human being- He fought with his fears, he made his best in achieving fulfillment and made mistakes along the way. But, he also took some very wise choices and by doing so he managed his life and influenced the lives of great many.

For conclusion, I believe that personal growth and development should not describe some vague idea- they should be an essential part of everyone life.

Recently, I attended an interesting talk with Rusty Gordon, CEO of Knowlagent who spoke about servant leadership. It was entitled, "Leading From Behind! " and it was hosted by The Institute For Enterprise and Innovation.

Wikipedia states, That "servant leadership is an approach to leadership development, coined and defined by Robert Greenleaf and advanced by several authors About The House Of Representatives Stephen Covey, Peter Block, Peter Senge, Max De Pree, Margaret Wheatley and Ken Blanchard.

Do they believe in the company's vision, mission and principles? Would these new employees feel comfortable with your corporate culture? As for your clients, do these prospective clients truly fit with your company? How does this prospect compare to your target market or best clients? Do they see and understand the value your products or services? Would you enjoy working with these companies?

Servant leadership promotes the idea that you choose to work with employees and companies based on not who they are now, but who they could become in the future!

Here is a question that many business men, politicians and some other folks can not answer: What is Integrity?

Here is the dictionary definition:

A synonym is honesty.

What ever happened to those Boy Scouts that became our leaders in business and government? Where and when did they go astray? Was it at Wharton or the Harvard Business School? Stanford!

When did greed take over their lives? Same places?

Look at the ads in the presidential campaign. If these guys were selling soap, they would tell you how great their brand of soap is and, with no lies, why it is better than other brands. Current ads imply that Obama is a Chicago mobster and McCain is too old to understand the importance of modern technology, neither of which is true.

This was supposed to be an upright campaign but McCain started the Rove-style swift-boating and things have gotten worse day by day.

Our humongous debt problem, now being increased by our government-adding to the war debt the communistic takeovers of institutions and purchasing questionable derivatives, bonds that may be worthless in the future (which is slightly better than what they are worth now)- is going to drown us in another depression. It may be delayed for a short time, but the billiard ball of debt will eventually clobber us and we will have to deal with it. Unfortunately, printing Educational Leadership Articles worthless money will not solve the problem.

Is it wise to add to the very thing that is causing our current problems?

More debt?

I don't think so.

It will just prolong the agony and the depression will be more severe.

Richard Nixon blew a lot of money trying to prevent inflation. As soon as the reforms expired, we had more inflation than ever. He just delayed things, adjustments that should have been left to the markets.

The economy will always take care of itself if it is left alone. But it will never be a safe haven is we have crooks running it. The free-market party is now the communistic takeover party.

It won't work.

Look at the Soviet Union.

Washington is in panic. I spend a good deal of time in industry. There, when a problem arose, management didn't panic. They didn't rush into stupid decisions. They took their time to think things out, taking limited action, until the proper line of progression could be determined. It's stupid to rush into things that will affect us for a very long time.

We don't have to have a solution by Monday. We don't have to have a solution right now so that certain politicians will have a chance to be elected.

I'm just dreaming, of course. Politics is everything right now. Some phony action must make the American People think that Washington has done something that will stop the economy from rolling down into the bottomless pit of depression.

Greed and unwise Leadership Development Plan of the Clinton surplus has put us into this situation. The Federal Reserve decided that the housing market was the place to put our money. Other markets, such as energy and pollution and education, where given less financial support so jobs that would have been developed, were not. At least that is what Bill Clinton said.

As unwise as the war spending has been, we still have those greedy pigs in Congress that are looking out only for their own interest. Congress needs to learn what integrity and honesty is. One party continually fighting the other will just bring us down further.

What will happen is that the American People will get angry and dump both parties.

We will have only one political party.

The communication of America will be complete!
